Peab Anläggning is one of Sweden's largest players in land and infrastructure. We work with everything from foundations and development areas to roads, bridges, and railways. We are now looking for an experienced cost engineer who wants to become an important part of our team in Stockholm.

About the role
You will belong to a team of several cost engineers, and together you are a central part of our operations. You will work closely with the project manager and be responsible for the entire cost calculation process – from analyzing tender documents to finished bids and handover to production.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Analyze and interpret technical documents
• Prepare cost estimates and tender documents
• Identify opportunities and find smart, sustainable solutions
• Contribute to ensuring profitability, quality, and a good work environment

You will be an important advisor in the early stages and play a key role in creating competitive and accurate cost calculations.

About you
We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary engineering education in construction/civil engineering, road and water, or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience
• Several years of experience in cost estimation work within the construction and civil engineering industry
• Good knowledge of contract law and AMA
• Experience with cost estimation software, preferably MAP
• Meriting: knowledge of concrete work

As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and enjoy creating and maintaining good relationships – both internally and with clients. You are engaged, quality-conscious, and have a strong desire to develop in your role.

You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have a B driver's license.

The position can be based at one of our two offices in Stockholm: Solna or Rönninge. Placement will be discussed based on the candidate's preferences. The position is a full-time position with start date according to agreement. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
